Fundació Joan Miró Museum, Barcelona, Spain

Bringing the Respiratory Community Together

During the ERS Congress in Barcelona, the Pulmonary Clinical Trials (PCT) Workshop hosted a special networking reception at the Fundació Joan Miró Museum. The evening brought together pulmonologists, respiratory scientists, researchers, industry representatives, and other members of the global respiratory community for an opportunity to connect, exchange ideas, and build new collaborations.

Hosted on behalf of PCT by Professors Vincent Cottin and Marc Humbert, the reception provided a welcoming environment for attendees to engage in meaningful discussion beyond the congress sessions.

The Value of Meaningful Connections

Progress in pulmonary and respiratory research depends on strong partnerships across academia, clinical practice, industry, and research organizations. Events such as the PCT Networking Reception create valuable opportunities to strengthen existing relationships while fostering new ones that can help advance clinical research and improve patient care.

Whether reconnecting with longtime colleagues or meeting new members of the respiratory community, attendees enjoyed an evening dedicated to collaboration and conversation about advancing pulmonary clinical research. The event reflected PCT's ongoing mission to bring together stakeholders from across the field and create opportunities that support innovation and progress in respiratory medicine.

We thank everyone who joined us in Barcelona and helped make the evening a memorable and valuable gathering for the global pulmonary research community
